The KCHE consists of two institutions

This unique partnership allows the Center to offer courses and programs ranging from associate to doctoral degrees. The KCHE offers the core and prerequisite classes for associate degrees and certificate programs from Northeast State and select baccalaureate and graduate degrees from participating universities. You can complete an associate of arts or associate of science degree (University Parallel Program) and transfer directly into the senior institution housed in the KCHE.

The Division of Health Professions is housed at the Regional Center for Health Professions (RCHP). The purpose of the Health Professions Division is to provide instruction in:

These programs prepare students to function in the role of a specialized healthcare provider. 

The Nursing program prepares individuals to become registered nurses. The associate degree graduate in Nursing is a generalist whose practice encompasses the interrelated roles of care provider, manager of care, and member of a comprehensive healthcare team.

Completion of these programs enables the student to take certification and/or licensure examinations required in these healthcare fields.

The Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) is Northeast State’s primary off-campus facility for training a qualified workforce for the region’s manufacturing sector. Our 26,000-square-foot training facility features the latest simulators, flexible classrooms, and qualified instruction to help employees learn advanced manufacturing skills. RCAM courses may be used to fulfill requirements for associate of applied science degrees and/or technical certificate programs offered in the following areas:

The Auto Body Service Technology program at Northeast State prepares individuals for employment in the auto body industry for estimation of services, auto-body work, and painting. With the acquired skills and knowledge gained, individuals will be able to repair, reconstruct, refinish automotive bodies, and straighten vehicle frames and external features using state-of-the-art equipment and skills involving manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
